RADIATING LOVING-KINDNESS

Just as a mother would protect

with her life her own son, her only son,

so one should cultivate an unbounded mind toward all beings, 

and loving-kindness toward all the world.

one should cultivate an unbounded mind,

above and below and across, 

without obstruction,

without enmity.

without rivalry,

standing, or going, or seated or lying down,

as long as one is free from drowsiness,

one should practice this mindfulness.

this, they say,

is the holy state here.

IF ONLY THEY KNOW

If beings know, as i know,
the results of sharing gifts,
they would not enjoy their gifts without sharing them with others,
nor would the taint of stinginess obsess the hearth and stay there.
Event if it where their last and final bit of food,
they not bi enjoy its use without sharing it,
if there were anyone to receive it.

PURE LIFE

On life journey 

FAITH is nourishment

VIRTUOUS DEEDS are a shelter,

WISDOM is the light by day and

RIGHT MINDFULNESS is 

the protection by night

If a man Lives a pure life 

nothing can destroy him;

if he has conquered greed

nothing can limit his freedom

JOY OF FREEDOM

There is no fire like greed,

no crime like hatred,

no sorrow like separation,

no sickness like hunger of heart,

and no joy like the joy of freedom.

Hunger is a greatest affliction,

conditionality the greatest source of despair.

The wise, seeing this as it is realize liberation, the greatest joy.

THE AWAKENING ONE

A brahmin once asked
The Blesssed one: "Are you a God?

"no, Brahmin" said the blessed one.

"Are you a saint?"

"no, Brahmin" said the blessed one.

"are you magician?"

"no, Brahmin" said the blessed one.

"what are you then?"

"I'M AWAKE"

DO NOT SIMPLE BELIEVE

Do not simple believe what you hear
just believe because u have heard its for a long time.
believe nothing on the faith of traditions,
event though they have been held in honour
for many generations and in diverse places.

Do not confirm anything just because it agrees with your scriptures.
do not be fooled by outward appearances.
persuading yourself that a god inspires you.
do not accept as fact anything that you yourself find to be logical.
believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests.

But Whatever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conductive to the good,
the benefit, the welfare of all being that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.
